No drilling or other modification of your boat required except on Frontier model, two little holes are required into front storage compartment. See item 1027 for inflatable pontoon version. . Accessories and upgrades to consider: Square-post upgrade to make floats self-aligning, with even easier up/down adjustment (item 1031).
